Safety Tips

Reroll helps you find games and the people trading them — but the deal itself happens between you and the other person, off-platform. We're not a party to the trade and don't handle payment or shipping (yet). A few habits keep it safe.

Before you deal

• Check the profile. Look at the seller's or buyer's ratings, completed sales, and how long they've been around.
• Ask for extra photos. Request clear photos of the actual copy — box, components, and any damage — not stock images.
• Confirm the condition. Match the photos to the stated condition (new, like new, good, …). Ask what's missing or worn.
• Agree on everything first. Price, who pays shipping, payment method, and timing — in writing in the in-app chat before money moves.

Meeting in person (recommended)

• Meet in a public place — a mall, cafe, or a board-game cafe during opening hours.
• Bring a friend if you can, especially for higher-value games.
• Inspect before you pay. Open the box, check the components against the list, and only hand over money once you're satisfied.

If you ship instead

• Prefer a trackable courier and keep the receipt.
• Record a packing/unboxing video — it helps resolve disputes about condition or missing pieces.
• Be wary of "pay first, ship later" with someone new and unrated.

Avoiding scams

• Never pay outside what you agreed. Be suspicious of last-minute "extra fees", changed accounts, or urgent pressure.
• Don't share OTPs, PINs, or bank/e-wallet login details. No legitimate buyer or seller needs them.
• A deal that's too good is a red flag. Deep discounts with a rushed, "transfer now" push are the classic scam.
• Keep the conversation on record. Screenshots of what was agreed help if something goes wrong.

Report problems

If someone behaves badly — a scam attempt, harassment, or a fake listing — use the Report button on their listing or profile. Reports are confidential and help us hide bad actors and ban repeat offenders.
